International media visit highlights

Adıyaman hosted representatives from five international media organizations on January 31st. During the visit, the Rainbow Association, an implementing partner of the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ), shared information about their projects co-financed by the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Representatives from the EU’s Humanitarian Aid Agency, GIZ, and the Rainbow Association attended the visit, where journalists had one-on-one meetings with beneficiaries of the project carried out under the Community-Based Local Initiatives Project (CLIP 2) to learn about the services and needs following the earthquake.

The Rainbow Association continues to provide information, legal counseling, and psychological support services to refugees fleeing war or persecution. Additionally, the association contributes to efforts aimed at creating solutions by organizing various sessions on the present and future of the asylum system in Turkey.
