LWA is a rights-based humanitarian CSO established in the Kızıltepe District of Mardin in 2010. Following breakout of the Syrian crisis, LWA has started to serve also refugees in its Community Centre in order to reduce protection concerns and strengthen social cohesion particularly after 2015. LWA is currently implementing protection projects for both refugees and local people in Mardin, Diyarbakır and Van Provinces and their districts.
