About the project
With relevant meetings and activities, SENED will strengthen the communication skills of refugee PwD, thereby increasing social cohesion by minimizing the barriers that prevent them from communicating with host communities. SENED will also provide protection, non-formal education and social cohesion services for people with and without disabilities, such as PSS, parenting sessions, mobile protection services in Şanlıurfa, Turkish language courses, social cohesion activities, disability awareness raising sessions, case management and referral for children with disabilities and their families. SENED will also cover additional needs of those NGOs in line with the inclusion of PwD in project activities, such as coaching and on-the-job support, sharing its experiences in how to involve PwD in project design, fieldwork-activity planning and implementation.
