The International Blue Crescent Relief and Development Foundation (IBC), in collaboration with Kilis No. 3 Strengthened Migrant Health Center, organized a “Family Communication Session” at the Kilis Community Center. The session brought together mothers to explore the importance of family communication, parenting styles, and their impact on child development. Participants had the opportunity to share their experiences in a safe and supportive environment while gaining awareness on everyday communication challenges.

During the session, essential communication skills such as empathy, active listening, body language, and open communication were shared through practical examples. Participants were also informed about safe childbirth and maternal health, supporting increased awareness on health-related topics.

At the end of the session, strollers and blankets were distributed to pregnant beneficiaries as a form of support. Overall, the activity contributed to strengthening family communication while also enhancing access to social support mechanisms for participants.
