Raising Awareness through a Child Rights Workshop

A comprehensive “Child Rights Workshop” was organized by SGDD-ASAM to strengthen children’s awareness of their rights and responsibilities. During the workshop, the book “I Have the Right to Know My Rights” was used as a guiding resource, and key concepts such as children, child rights, rights, and responsibilities were explored through age-appropriate and interactive methods. Children had the opportunity to share their experiences in a safe learning environment and engage more closely with the concept of rights.

Through various activities, participants were supported in recognizing their rights and understanding how these rights apply in their daily lives. The learning process was reinforced through Q&A sessions, case examples, and practical exercises, while encouraging children to internalize the concept of responsibility.

Overall, the workshop contributed to helping children develop a more informed and sensitive perspective, both for themselves and for their peers.
