A social cohesion event was held on Kayabaşı Highlands within the scope of the “A Helping Hand to Overcome Distances 2” project carried out by the Afghanistan Hazaras Culture and Solidarity Association (AHCSA).
Asylum seekers and immigrants coming to Trabzon from countries such as Afghanistan, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Ukraine, Algeria, Eritrea, Sweden, Australia and Sudan came together with local people on Kayabaşı Highland. About 300 people participanted in the event organised by AHSCA with the support of Trabzon Provincial Directorate of Migration Management and Trabzon Community Volunteers Group.
Adults and youth competed in a variety of games including tug of war, volleyball and different races. At the same time, children had fun in the games prepared by Trabzon Community Volunteers Group for children.
