As part of its Quality Time for Mother and Child Program, İKGV organized an oral and dental health education session in April. The session, held with the participation of final-year dental students, brought together children aged 5–14 and their mothers.
The event covered fundamental topics such as tooth structure, the importance of oral hygiene, brushing techniques, and the impact of nutrition on dental health. With hands-on demonstrations and dental models, children enjoyed a fun and interactive learning experience while gaining important health awareness.
Sessions designed for parents emphasized the significance of daily routines, early intervention, and regular dental check-ups to support children’s oral health.
Designed to facilitate joint learning between children and their parents, the event not only provided valuable information but also strengthened family bonds. With high participation and engagement, the session successfully fulfilled the program’s mission of fostering healthy habits and meaningful time together.
