Social Support Seminar for Women by SEVKAR

On April 11, the SEVKAR Foundation organized a seminar titled “Women-to-Women Seminars: Access to Social Support.” The event aimed to enhance access to social assistance mechanisms and covered a range of topics—from reasons for benefit suspensions to the reapplication processes.

Participants received detailed information about the Social Cohesion Assistance and other types of socio-economic support. They also learned about possible solutions to challenges they face, such as changes of address or registered employment. Topics such as language barriers and the need for interpreter support were also discussed, along with practical issues like e-Government applications and unemployment benefits.

With high participation, the seminar created a space for women to share their own experiences and strengthen mutual learning.
