Horan Foundation is an organisation specialised in protection, humanitarian support, emergency and early recovery. The Foundation works to increase the resilience, improve the access to services and improve social cohesion of affected communities (men, women, children, and people with disabilities) in times of crisis.

About the project

The objective of the project is to increase access of refugees in Sakarya to protection services and to improve social cohesion for refugees and the host communities in the province.

It focuses on the provision of certain protection services (information provision, counselling, legal aid) as well as the referral to public services for vulnerable members of host and refugee communities, besides intercultural activities to facilitate social cohesion among diverse groups (i.e. social, cultural or sports activities).
