Hayata Gülümse Association was established in 2018 in Diyarbakır. It has the aim to monitor the access of disadvantaged groups to their rights and benefits, taking measures for their integration into economic and social life, and developing solution-oriented models with a rights-based approach.

About the project

The project’s overall objective is to ensure the social cohesion of Afghan refugees in Aksaray and its districts as well as to improve their living conditions. The project aims to improve the resilience of refugees in Aksaray by ensuring their integration through protection, social cohesion and non-formal education activities. As a result, it seeks to accelerate Afghans’ social cohesion in order to promote political, cultural and social peace. This project will make significant contribution to raising awareness about the problems that refugees face, such as prejudice, discrimination, social exclusion and language barriers.
