Genç Hayat Foundation was established in 2008 with the purpose of preparing and implementing training modules to ensure that children and young people between the ages of 11-18 can express themselves, are aware of their rights, have equal opportunities in education, embrace freedom of expression, internalise a culture and awareness of living together with differences, human rights and democracy, adopt non-violent communication, are sensitive to the environment, develop self-confidence and self-respect.

About the project

The project aims at keeping children in school and combating child labour, strengthening social cohesion in Sakarya and assisting women as well as individuals with international and/or temporary protection status.

Within this scope, protection of children and women under international and/or temporary protection, their access to services, identification of working or at-risk children, promotion of education for children, awareness raising for families and related actors will be at the core of project implementations.
